Submission triage

Cleared before you open it.

Every submission is read, cleared against the book and routed to a program before an underwriter touches it. What is left is one decision, with the evidence attached.

Submission triage examples

The first hour runs without you. Mail lands, the attachments are read, the account is found, and the run stops at the one thing a person has to decide.

[01]

It arrives, once.

Mail syncs from the connected inbox and blocked senders are dropped before anything is stored. A message you have already seen never opens a second submission.

[02]

You see what came in.

Every attachment is registered against the submission and classified, so the queue tells you an ACORD 125 arrived and the loss runs did not.

[03]

The account is found.

A reference number, a placed thread or a known sender ties the mail to an account you already hold. When nothing matches, it opens as new business.

[04]

It stops at your decision.

Extracted values land as a proposed change to the record, listed operation by operation. Nothing is written to the book until someone applies it.

“The mail used to be the job. Now it is sorted by the time we sit down, and what is left is the call we are actually paid to make.”

Clearance, in order of evidence. A submission is matched to the account it belongs to by the strongest signal available, and two matches count as none.

A number in the mail.

A policy or submission number quoted anywhere in the thread is checked against the accounts you already hold, before any model is asked for an opinion.

A conversation already placed.

Once a thread is tied to an account, every later message on it lands in the same place. That call was made with more context than freshly read text will ever have.

A broker you already know.

The sender is matched against the agent, broker and insureds on your accounts. One account matches and it routes. Two do, and it goes to a person instead of a guess.

A queue you can actually work. Filter it, see what is waiting on a person, and reach back into any run that read something wrong.

Filter and sort

Narrow the inbound book by type, status or date, and page through it without rows shifting under you.

Waiting on a person

A run that cannot finish its job parks itself and says so, separating what is still working from what is stuck.

Assigned, not announced

A parked run opens a task on the submission, assigned to whoever owns the inbox it arrived in.

Restart from a step

Re-run a submission from any stage. Everything before it is rehydrated from what already ran, so only the wrong part is redone.

Live as it moves

The queue and the run update as each stage lands, with no refresh and no polling.

Every call is on the record

The candidates considered, the confidence, the reasoning and who resolved it are all kept, so a routing decision reads back months later.

Three ways in. One path through. Where a submission came from is recorded, and it never changes what happens to it.

Email inbox

Connect the mailbox submissions already go to. Mail syncs in, attachments become documents, and an inbox can be scoped to the programs it actually receives.

Send us a week of mail.

Bring a real submission inbox, ACORD forms and all. We will run it through and show you what came out the other side.

Usually 30 minutes, with an underwriter on the call.
